Hey Mama

I am a Catholic Christian, wife to Tim, and mama to three girls; Kayleigh, McKinley, and Lainey. My first daughter was born in a “standard” hospital birth that included an epidural. While there was some drama at the birth, a birth story to be told another time, there was nothing innately wrong with it, yet I wanted more. During my second pregnancy, I made the choice to switch care from hospital midwives to a home birth midwife with the support of a doula. If you are interested in my birth stories, check out the blog!

I have always felt called to pregnancy and birth work but the calling to become a doula became crystal clear when I was preparing to have my second daughter. I listened to every popular birth podcast and devoured every birth book I could find. After the most transformative home birth, I was hooked.

I am is a self proclaimed “birth nerd” and happy to talk at length on fertility awareness, conception, pregnancy, labor, breastfeeding, and newborn care. I want moms to have all possible information to help them make informed choices about their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

This venture is years in the making and I am beyond thrilled to be considered as part of your birth team!
